A simple, table-top music stand. The user can adjust the angle the stand sits by positioning the leg's support.

I made this at the request of a neighbour who plays the violin and wanted a music stand to place on her table while she practiced. I went far beyond her expectations by designing the leg mechanism after seeing a similar design on an antique advertised somewhere on Etsy.

All the material for this came from an old bench. After years outdoors, it wasn't holding together anymore. I kept the best parts and used most of the pieces for this stand and a few repairs to other outdoor furniture. I think we should find new life in old things whenever we can.
