Like all woodworkers, I have an ever-growing collection of tools that need to be kept somewhere. This inevitably leads to a never ending cycle of building a box to hold tools, filling that box with new tools, and repeating the cycle.

This was my first tool chest. It is made entirely from reclaimed wood: pieces of pallets that I came by, some planks left in the maker-space I used, a resawn window sill. One of the things that I always remember and love about this chest is the smell of pine whenever I opened it.
